For those who didn't know, for those that thought maybe, for those that did know and wanted to prove it, for those who had no idea why and didn't give it much thought either: (Please note: I didn't write this. About.com's people did. Including the fashion advice about how cute they look with miniskirts. I put their whole thingy in the color yellow, a slight mustard yellow if you ask me.)

Definition: Uggs are the term for the trendy boots from Australia that gained popularity in the spring of 2003. Uggs were created for Australian surfers who wanted a pair of boots that would be warm and comfortable to wear as soon as they left the water after surfing in cold tempertatures. The name comes from locals who thought they were so ugly, they were cute. They started calling the boots "Uglies" and eventually shortened the term to "Uggs". They became popular after seen on celebrities such as Britney Spears.

Spring Fashions '06

Spring Fashions are in their full glory. Isn't it great? My new pants (okay, so technically they are long capris, for you fashion forward techie divas out there) (and whatever they are, they certainly aren't slacks; Slacks -- eezzzshivrrrrrr...) from Serena's are ootw. "New espadrilles are coming soon!" What color will we paint our toes this year, girlfriends?! The fact that it's raining shant be a downer. We can wear our baseball caps and go to the mall. Girlfriends & Hoops

Okay, like I was essentially forced to watch the girls' basketball team play the other day. Now, someone tell me why, but there's a bunch of girls on the court playing basketball, running this way, running that way, shooting, hooting, blocking, jumping, and the coach on the sideline is yelling, "where's your man? Find your man!" Now, tell me: how is a girl supposed to concentrate on playing basketball when her coach is shouting out dating advice from the sidelines? Doesn't he really mean to say, "where's your girl? Find your girl!"? Everyone needs to get with the times. Everyone. I mean, how hard is it to say girl? This totally eats away at our self-esteem. I don't know how my sister tolerated this all her basketball years.

Mascara/Save the Planet

My mother was playing some of her music today. You know, the kind she used to listen to when she was like my age. Anyway, the music was okay, but I really like this line: "really love your peaches, want to shake your tree." I think that's kinda save the planet which is a good thing even though I sometimes wear mascara.

Jammed Locker

My locker was jammed all day today. Weird. The janitor had to come. I didn't mind, though, because it meant I got to spend most of the day without books. Everybody was talking about it.
